Today in Class:
In Math we reveiwed the terms: mean, median, and mode. We used our names to collect data and decide on the average number of letters in peoples names. Video Introduction to Mean, Median, and Mode
Language Arts: Today we read the chapter "Forever Yours" and we began to discuss the quote (page 108): "We tend to say, Oh well, kids will be kids'. It's almost like we assume that cruelty and violence are a part of growing up. I wonder why we assume that?"
Social Studies: Students began presenting their land and water projects today.
Science: We will begin the study of the nervous system soon. We will be gaining new vocabulary as well as knowledge of how our brains work.
